Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of the CLocal app and website, operated by Clickclick Video Marketing Ltd (trading as CLocal), a company registered in Northern Ireland (number NI707611), registered office Arthur House, 41 Arthur Street, Belfast, BT1 4GB. By creating an account you agree to these Terms.
Your account
You must be at least 13 years old to use CLocal. Keep your login details secure and let us know promptly if you think your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
Roles
You may hold one or more roles: consumer, business, or creator. Creators must apply and be approved before posting. We may suspend or restrict accounts that abuse gifts, deals, events, or other users.
Gifts, giveaways and LocalGem deals
Premium businesses may post time-limited consumer gifts (for example a free drink in a set window) and separate influencer-gifting offers for approved creators. Any consumer may claim an open consumer gift while stock lasts; claiming may require agreeing to short terms shown at the time. LocalGem deals are pay-as-you-go for the business: CLocal takes a percentage of the deal value when a shopper redeems at the till, with a minimum per redemption, and nothing if nobody redeems. CLocal helps people discover local businesses but is not the merchant or seller of their goods and services unless we say otherwise.
Memberships and payments
CLocal offers optional paid memberships (for example Consumer VIP). Current prices, what each membership includes, the billing period, any free-trial terms, and how to cancel are shown in the app before you buy. Purchases made on a mobile device are processed and billed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their terms; manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Renewals continue until cancelled. Refunds are handled according to the applicable app store’s policy and your statutory rights.
Acceptable use
Do not post illegal, harmful, or infringing content; harass or impersonate others; scrape the service; or try to bypass security or paid features. We may remove content and restrict access to keep CLocal safe.
Content you post
You keep ownership of content you upload. You grant CLocal a licence to host, display and distribute it within the app and its promotion. You confirm you have the rights to any content you post, including from anyone featured in it.
Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or withdraw features, and we may change these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the version and date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use CLocal after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Liability
CLocal is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and disputes are subject to the courts of Northern Ireland. If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence.
